Metz Consumer Electronics is launching the AURUS silverline 48", an exclusive OLED special edition model developed to coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This strictly limited model combines high-quality OLED technology with enhanced convenience features and a distinctive design approach, and is specifically aimed at discerning consumers.

Distinctive design as a clear differentiator

With the AURUS silverline 48", Metz consciously sets a precedent against the widespread uniformity in the TV market. The device is based on the design language of the AURUS series, but reinterprets it: An elegant silver finish, a speaker bar covered in silver-gray acoustic fabric, and clean lines give the television a timeless, high-quality appearance.

The design is complemented by a rotating table base made of brushed, silver anodized aluminum, which is both visually appealing and functionally impressive. The included RM19 remote control with a real metal surface further underscores the premium quality.

OLED technology meets Metz's typical full range of features

The 48-inch UHD OLED panel with support for common HDR standards ensures perfect black levels, high contrast, and lifelike colors. Pixel-precise brightness control enables a particularly nuanced image display.

For reception, the AURUS silverline 48" features an integrated twin multi-tuner and two CI+ interfaces. This makes it compatible with all common reception methods for both free and pay TV.

The special edition model also boasts high-quality sound: MetzSoundPro technology with a 2-way system, bass reflex port, and six front-firing speakers delivers a powerful yet precise sound.

Integrated Digital Recorder as an Added Value

As a special feature, the AURUS silverline 48" boasts an integrated digital recorder with a 1 TB hard drive. This enables time-shifted viewing (timeshift) as well as convenient recording functions* – a clear added value, especially during the FIFA World Cup, whose broadcasts often take place late in the evening or at night due to the time difference.
