Premium quality is not a question of screen size. With the limited-edition CUBUS compact R, Metz Classic presents an exceptionally well-equipped TV available exclusively in the 32-inch class. The special-edition model combines an integrated digital recorder with 1 TB of storage, high-quality picture and sound technology, and a modern hardware platform featuring Metz’s proprietary TV software. The CUBUS compact R is developed and manufactured in Germany. Visitors can get an exclusive first look at the new special-edition model at IFA in Berlin, where Metz will be presenting the CUBUS compact R in Hall 23b, Stand 101.
A Premium Statement in 32 Inches
With the CUBUS compact R, Metz is taking a clear approach: even with a compact screen size, customers should not have to compromise on convenience, quality or premium features. The idea for the limited-edition model was also born out of close dialogue with specialist retailers. “The CUBUS compact R is the result of many conversations with our specialist retail partners. We wanted to create a special-edition model that gives retailers additional selling points while demonstrating what is possible in the 32-inch class today. Metz Technology Down to the Last Detail
The Full HD display with HDR10 and HLG, combined with Metz Vision picture technology, delivers natural colours, high contrast and detailed images. Powerful sound and excellent speech intelligibility are provided by the front-firing speaker system featuring MetzSoundPro technology.
Inside, a modern and particularly powerful hardware platform ensures fast response times and smooth operation. At its heart is Metz’s proprietary TV software, developed in-house and optimally matched to the hardware platform.
1 TB of Storage Built Right into the TV
One of the standout features of the CUBUS compact R is its integrated digital recorder with 1 TB of hard-drive storage. Programmes can be recorded directly on the TV, while Timeshift enables convenient time-shifted viewing – with no need for an external recorder.
Together with a Triple Twin Tuner and CI+ slot, the CUBUS compact R offers a high level of viewing convenience across all common reception methods. HbbTV, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and LAN, as well as three HDMI and two USB ports, round out its extensive feature set. This makes the CUBUS compact R one of the best-equipped TVs in its size class.
Premium Quality Down to the Last Detail
The design of the CUBUS compact R also underscores its premium credentials. Clean lines, carefully selected materials and a fabric-covered speaker front define its appearance. A distinctive highlight is the swivelling tabletop stand made of black-anodised, brushed aluminium. It provides secure support while allowing the screen to be positioned flexibly.

The limited-edition Metz CUBUS compact R 32" is expected to be available from specialist retailers from mid-September.
